A whole-resume job (an import, an AI review, a translation) is 3. A job match or a tailored resume is 10. On the free plan, credits work for all of these; rewriting a line with AI is free 3 times and then needs Pro, and cover letters, interview prep and the recruiter view are Pro only. The ATS check without a job ad is always free, and the free plan's first import, first review and first tailored resume cost nothing. Tip: run the free ATS check before spending 10 credits on a job match.

Yes. The Starter plan is free forever and you don't need a credit card. You get one resume, instant ATS checks, plain-text export, 2 PDF downloads a month (each page ends with a small “Made with CVHancer” line), and 20 AI credits to import your existing resume and try the AI tools. Pro ($12/month or $79/year) and Elite ($29/month or $189/year) add unlimited resumes, PDFs without a watermark and more AI credits.

No. If you only need CVHancer for one job search, a Job Hunt Pass gives you everything in Pro for 7 days ($9), 30 days ($19) or 90 days ($39) with a single payment. It doesn't renew, so there's nothing to cancel. When it ends you go back to the free plan and keep your resumes.

Most companies run applications through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), software that reads your resume before a recruiter does. An ATS-friendly resume has a clean layout, standard section headings and the right keywords, so the software reads it correctly. CVHancer checks your resume for all of this and shows you what to fix.

Yes. Pro and Elite include 13 country formats, like a US resume, a British CV, a German Lebenslauf or a Gulf executive CV. Each one takes care of that country's rules for photos, dates, personal details and section order.

The AI can turn an existing PDF or Word resume into editable sections, rewrite your bullet points so they're clearer and focus on results, review your whole resume, and compare it with a job description. Pro also writes a cover letter for each job from your resume. Each action uses AI credits. Pro includes 500 credits a month and Elite 2,000, whether you pay monthly or yearly.

We read the text of your resume, don't keep the file and never train AI on it. Until you sign up, your resume stays in your browser; with an account you can delete your resume or your whole account at any time. Read the privacy policy

No. It works only from what your resume and you tell it: it never invents jobs, dates or numbers. Each answer is checked for figures, tools and claims that aren't in your resume before you see it, and you can undo any change.

Nothing is charged and nothing renews: you go back to the free plan. You keep every resume, job and your portfolio, and any AI credits left stay usable on the free plan. Pro features such as clean PDFs, Pro templates, country formats and cover letters lock again until you buy another pass or subscribe.

The site works in English, French, Dutch and Arabic (right to left). Your resume can be written in any language, and the AI can translate it into 12: English, French, Dutch, Arabic, German, Japanese, Hindi, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Brazilian Portuguese.
